About

Who made the clothes you’re wearing right now? It’s a question few of us can answer. Unfortunately behind the glamour and beauty, fashion can often hide untold stories of human exploitation and environmental destruction. Frustrated by the damaging impacts of the fashion industry we decided there had to be a better way.

In November 2016, we walked 3500 km across Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Laos to meet with and learn from people creating fashion in positive and beautiful ways. Speaking with talented designers, weavers, dyers, sewers and more, we discovered there is reason for hope and that the clothes we choose to wear matter more than we realise. Connecting with how your clothes are made and the humans that make them really can make all the difference.
